CENTRAL ATLANTIC CONFERENCE LENTEN CONTEMPLATIVE HOUR GATHERINGS

Next week, Ash Wednesday, begins the Season of Lent. We begin a sacred season of reflection and renewal, symbolically journeying with Jesus and remembering his journey to Jerusalem and to Calvary. This season, particularly in these turbulent and troubling times in our country and world, encourages us to engage in a contemplative examination of our own life and relationship with Jesus so that we may grow together in our relationship with God as followers of Christ.  We will convene Lenten Contemplative Hour beginning next Wednesday, Ash Wednesday, March 5th, from 6-7P. Each hour will include prayers, meditations, readings, and any creative means of spiritual grounding led by a facilitator from the Conference. 

Next Wednesday’s hour will be led by Associate Conference Minister the Rev. Craig Peterson

Whether through prayer, meditation, or simply being in the presence of one another, we hope to cultivate a spirit of unity in these divisive and discordant times.  Please join us as we embark on this journey together in this important season.
